 Lily Luna lay quite still as the last of her roommates climbed into bed. She could hear them talking, her cousin and Ruth Edgecomb. "Do you think Lily's alright?" Ruth asked. "She barely talked to us tonight. During her own party." From right next to her, Molly Weasley, her cousin named for their grandmother, answered. "I'm sure she's fine. Besides, Quidditch practice has been brutal lately." Lily imagined Ruth was shrugging. "I suppose. But you don't seem effected." Ruth laughed, "All I have to do is float around until I see the snitch." She sighed. "Though, she has been acting rather secretive since the summer." Lily rolled her eyes.

Dearest Diary,  30-7-1890 Today is my 11th Birthday and I am so happy because I got my Hogwarts Letter. It is also my Best Friends Vaysia Weasley's 11th birthday and she also got her Hogwarts letter. Vaysia and I have been best Friends since the day we were born our Mothers were in the same ward at St Mungo's, and we were also born just minutes apart. My older brother Vladimir will start his 2cnd year in Ravenclaw house ion the 1st of August. I will talk more tomorrow after we get back from Diagon Alley. Bye Renerah Anne Potter
